You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond with clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calling for assistance and/or coordinating with campus staff and public responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking lots, and surrounding grounds to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and common areas during patrols, assist with visitor directions, and report maintenance concerns such as lighting outages, unsecured doors, and/or suspicious conditions.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate key information to site leadership during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
