You will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, control access points, respond to alarms and/or reports, and document activity using a computer or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior spaces, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter areas, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical-related calls for assistance, and/or fire or alarm activations as directed by post orders.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activity, incidents, and/or maintenance or environmental issues observed during patrols, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Monitor assigned areas for unauthorized access, prohibited items, and/or policy violations, and help to deter unwanted activity through high-visibility presence and timely notification to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
