As a Security Officer - Warehouse Morning Access Control in Pittston, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a retail distribution location as an Access Control Officer, where you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue badges, and log visitors and deliveries using computer and/or tablet systems. You will remain highly visible, communicate clearly with team members and drivers, and help to deter security-related incidents through consistent presence and professional service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing employee and contractor access, and maintaining required access logs.
• Process inbound and outbound vehicle traffic by coordinating driver check-in and/or check-out, verifying shipment documentation as directed by site policy, and directing vehicles to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, monitor cameras and other security-related systems, and document observations per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
