As a Security Officer - Overnight Highrise in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to monitor access, greet and assist visitors, and support a professional lobby experience. You will help manage badges and access control, respond to alarms and calls for service, and document security-related activity using a computer or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the commercial property by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, managing keys and/or access cards, and directing authorized persons to their destinations.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and building systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to Allied Universal supervision and/or local responders as required by post orders.
• Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate front desk logs for visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
