As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badging, monitor the lobby and entry points, and document security-related activity using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk within a financial services location.
  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and vendors; manage visitor processing including sign-in, identification verification per site policy, and issuing and collecting visitor badges.
  • Control access at the main entry by monitoring doors and the reception area, answering inquiries, and directing authorized persons to the appropriate destinations.
  • Monitor alarms, communications, and/or video surveillance feeds as assigned; report irregular activity and service issues to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation when appropriate and timely notification of emergency services when required by procedure.
  • Document security-related activity in written logs and incident reports, including unusual events, policy violations, and follow-up actions taken.
  • Coordinate with building management and client teams regarding access requests, deliveries, and scheduled visitors, while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Support business continuity at the front desk by maintaining key control processes as assigned, handling incoming calls, and relaying messages per site protocol.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
