What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Interact professionally with visitors, customers, and employees, providing assistance and direction as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Carry and maintain control of assigned firearm at all times in accordance with company and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
