As a Security Officer - Distribution Screening Desk in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will also interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication while supporting access control measures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or materials entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location according to established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel and visitors as required by site procedures.
• Document and report any irregularities or incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Work collaboratively with team members and site personnel to support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
