As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Gate Driver in Cookeville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate vehicles as part of your duties. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing excellent customer service and communication, all while embodying Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control access to the premises by verifying credentials and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and client procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including evacuations and/or lockdowns as required by site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management to relay information regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
