As a Security Officer - Unarmed Telecom Patrol in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a tech and media location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service to staff and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and communicate clearly to address concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect assets.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client guidelines.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed in a tech, media, or telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
