Job Description


As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Crete, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the location within the food and beverage industry, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. This is a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote a secure atmosphere, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions, keeping in mind the unique aspects of a food and beverage production environment.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as doors left unlocked, suspicious individuals, or unsafe working conditions, to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at all times.
  • Assist with access control procedures, monitor entry and exit points, and verify credentials as required by site policies.
  • Support site operations by documenting incidents, completing reports, and maintaining detailed records as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
