As a Security Officer - Retail Foot Patrol in Redmond, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and tenants, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any irregularities.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management as required.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and emergency personnel as necessary.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
