As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible throughout your shift. What You'll Do:

• Screen individuals and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following established protocols and site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with inquiries related to security-related procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns within the facility and perimeter.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to support emergency response activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Lifting more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
