What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor the facility for unusual activity or potential hazards, and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Interact with visitors, patients, and staff in a courteous and helpful manner, assisting with wayfinding and access as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment tailored to the needs of a healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
