What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening of individuals entering the location, following established procedures to help to deter prohibited items and unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries and directions while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Monitor entry points and observe behaviors to identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following location-specific protocols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain awareness of the environment and communicate any concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Lifting more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
