As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors at a technology, media, and telecom location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed patrol posts.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
  • Monitor access points and screen individuals entering and exiting the location, maintaining awareness of surroundings at all times.
  • Document observations and report any unusual or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, remaining composed under pressure and communicating clearly with team members and local authorities.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to support ongoing security-related needs and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
