What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing customer service to clients and visitors within the tech, media, and telecom location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues, with patrol frequency and routes varying as required by the location.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Support emergency response activities, following established protocols and guidance from Allied Universal and site leadership.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the location.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities as required, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
