As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol Driver in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires you to navigate the location, interact with staff and visitors, and support a secure atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the site and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor the premises for any unusual activity and report findings promptly according to company protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or visitors to address security-related questions and provide assistance as needed.
• Document observations and incidents thoroughly in daily activity reports and/or incident reports as required by Allied Universal.
• Adapt to varying working environments and conditions typical of a tech, media, or telecom location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
