As a Patrol Armed Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will be highly visible, serve as a reassuring presence for the public, and communicate with clients and visitors while embodying Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or customers while maintaining a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Adhere to all company and client policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
