Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Office in Boston MA

Sunday - Thursday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security/Law Experience


As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, maintaining a strong visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is an armed position and requires a valid concealed carry weapons permit. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence as an armed security professional to help to deter potential threats within the government environment.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed in the event of an incident.
  • Support the enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations to help to maintain order and compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
