As a Security Officer - On-Call Dispatch Team in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and coordinate communications within the transportation location, dispatching security-related personnel as needed.
  • Receive and respond to calls for service, incidents, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications and incidents for site-specific documentation requirements.
  • Assist with the implementation and adherence to site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff, addressing inquiries and directing them as appropriate.
  • Support Allied Universal personnel by relaying information and coordinating responses to security-related events and/or emergencies.
  • Work collaboratively with site staff and law enforcement as required.
  • Participate in regular and random patrols of the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
