Job Description


As a Security Guard - Auto Facility Patrol Lead in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic automotive location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond professionally to any security-related concerns, all while upholding our values of reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of the location.
  • Report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents according to site protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal policies and client site requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while representing Allied Universal at the location.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
