Job Description


As a Security Guard- Media Facility Patrol - Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a SCREENER in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication, all while upholding Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Screen individuals entering the location to verify authorization and compliance with entry requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and/or use security-related technology to support screening and access control functions.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
