What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location, following established procedures and site-specific policies.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, including employees, visitors, and contractors, as required by site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify any unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal training and site guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of all activities, observations, and incidents during the shift.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with staff, visitors, and other personnel while providing customer service and addressing inquiries related to security-related matters.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site management or Allied Universal protocols.
• Follow all site-specific policies and procedures, adapting to the unique requirements of a logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
