As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment by conducting routine patrols at a government location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual situations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities as required.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed in response to incidents at the location.
• Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client site-specific procedures while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
