What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed patrol posts.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Interact with visitors, staff, and the public in a professional manner while upholding security-related standards.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed written reports as required by site policies.
  • Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
  • Maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding armed security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
