As a Security Officer - Medical Center Patrol Driver in North Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas using a company vehicle. You will provide outstanding customer service, support staff and visitors, and act as a trusted representative of Allied Universal, demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Document incidents and daily activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
