As a Security Officer - Unarmed Weekdays Evening Patrols in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for clients and visitors. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will be visible throughout your assigned area, provide strong customer service, and uphold our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity while supporting a caring and innovative workplace.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution's business areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order.
• Document observations and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies, including those that may require the use of armed response as outlined by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Two or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience are required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
