As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to create a secure environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, where you will remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while working with a team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any unusual or suspicious activity observed during patrols.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and/or visitors as needed to address security-related matters.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols while performing job duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
