As a Security Officer - Distribution Center - Full Time in Laredo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, addressing inquiries from visitors, staff, and delivery personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related concerns and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or other site-specific emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
