What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing communication systems as required.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel and first responders to relay important information and facilitate response actions.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications as required by site procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring surveillance systems, alarms, and other security-related technology to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and external agencies as needed to support site operations.
  • Support Allied Universal and client site policies by following all established protocols and procedures specific to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
