As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will focus on access control, monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and following site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant information as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and report any irregularities.
• Maintain logs and records of daily activities, access control events, and/or incidents as directed by Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Follow all site-specific policies and procedures, including emergency response protocols, to support a secure environment.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address any security-related concerns or needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
