As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driving Role in Bell Gardens, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Security Officer, where you will monitor and patrol designated government locations to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors in a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required by the post profile.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with emergency response activities, following established protocols and collaborating with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during assigned shifts.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Remain alert and prepared to address security-related concerns unique to government environments, adapting to varying working conditions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
