As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol Driver in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer assigned to an access control post at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Perform access control duties by verifying credentials of personnel and visitors entering the chemical or petrochemical facility.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Follow location-specific procedures related to security-related incidents and emergencies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with site-specific questions and access needs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any observed irregularities, security-related incidents, or violations of site policies to Allied Universal management and site representatives.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any potential hazards or unusual conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
