As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and directions.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Follow all site-specific security-related procedures and protocols to maintain order within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
