Job Description


As a Security Guard - Chemical Patrol Driver in El Dorado, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a chemical and petrochemical location. You will monitor assigned areas, provide access control, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and reliability. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
  • Observe and report any security-related concerns, hazards, or suspicious activities encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas, verifying credentials, and monitoring visitor activity as required by site policies.
  • Support Allied Universal and site management with incident documentation and communication as directed.
  • Maintain awareness of chemical and petrochemical site-specific risks and follow appropriate emergency procedures in accordance with training.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
