As a Security Officer - Bank Lobby Rounds in Glen Allen, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter potential threats and support a secure environment.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, client staff, and local authorities as required.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcing site policies while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
