As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Unarmed Patrol in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a technology-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to support compliance with site protocols.
• Document and report any unusual incidents, observations, or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, representing Allied Universal in all interactions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
