As a Security Officer - Flex Healthcare Patrol in Huntsville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols and deliver exceptional customer service, all while embodying Allied Universal's core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for all occupants.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals during evacuations or lockdowns.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and local law enforcement as required to address security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
