As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the retail or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor the premises for suspicious behavior and report any unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Assist visitors and tenants by providing directions and general information about the location as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required.
• Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
