As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with clients and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior or activities and report findings according to site procedures.
  • Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a professional manner, offering assistance as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the location, verifying credentials as required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences during shifts.
  • Support emergency response activities, including evacuation procedures and coordination with law enforcement when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
