What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures while carrying out security-related tasks.
  • Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats or unwanted activity within the location.
  • Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements for carrying and handling firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
