As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Dunn, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol retail distribution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service through strong communication. This is a driving post, so you will use your valid driver's license while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations during shifts.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors to provide assistance and information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
