As a Security Officer - Unarmed Aero Patrols in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Officer in an unarmed post within the aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Support access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring visitor and contractor activity as required by site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or possess an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
