As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a premier retail location, you will conduct regular unarmed patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence throughout the site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Report and document any unusual occurrences, incidents, or suspicious behavior in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or managing visitor flow as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Provide information and assistance to visitors, employees, and/or customers as needed, contributing to a positive experience at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
