What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address various situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or activities, reporting findings according to site protocols.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by site procedures.
• Adhere to all company and client policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a Level III armed certification for Texas.
• Possess a current CPR certification. This is preferred.
• Possess a current baton certification. This is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
