Job Description


As a Security Guard - Armed Medical Facility in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise in a healthcare setting.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Assist hospital staff and law enforcement as needed with security-related matters, always maintaining professionalism and discretion.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to medical emergencies and/or disturbances, following established protocols and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
