As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff by providing guidance and information as needed while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or manager or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Applicants must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Applicants must have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
  • Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
  • Applicants must have required vaccines as mandated for hospital positions.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
