As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels to identify and report irregularities or incidents within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to observe for suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during emergency response activities as required by site protocols.
• Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and Allied Universal guidelines while carrying out assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
