As a Security Officer - Hospital Security Driver in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires driving as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures and visitor management as required by the facility.
• Communicate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management to relay relevant information and coordinate response efforts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Vaccinations are required for work at this hospital site.
• Duties may include working in the hospital morgue.
• Duties may include restraining individuals in a hospital setting.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
