As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service, all while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and caring. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or emergencies according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, offering assistance and serving as a visible Allied Universal representative.
• Support emergency response activities when required, following all site-specific and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
• Operate communication devices and/or security systems as needed to support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
